Suketu created the modern Bollywood sound by remixing soulful Indian melodies with electronic and house beats, producing record-breaking albums. This unique fusion style that he pioneered is prevalent in music coming out of Bollywood today, such as Jai Ho – the Grammy and Oscar award winning song.
Bollywood Dreams was founded to enrich Portland’s musical experience by drawing and presenting the best talent straight from India. DJ Suketu is kicking off his third US tour on the heels of sold-out tours in 2008 and 2009, by coming to Portland for the very first time.
