Hello. I am debating moving to bay area (from Vancouver, Canada) and debating if its worth while. I had many questions and wondering if someone could help me out (especially if you are from Canada).Questions like:- My wife will come on a TD visa, but is there any way she can work there. She is in banking. Are there any workarounds?- Is schooling good. I hear some schools are good and some are not (my kids go to grade 8), but then rental/realestate is very high. How do I identify which are the good high school areas?- Cost of living is likely the biggest issue. Not sure how people manage with like a 3 bedroom apartment being 4000+.- I presume can live further away, but then how bad is commute during rush hour?I am trying to figure out a neighbourhood in the area that is not too costly with good high schools and not a crazy commute to palo alto area.all feedback appreciated.
