Do you know that it is illegal to take Indian currency in and out of India by the people carrying foreign passport.

You can take INR, but not more than Rs. 10000. IF you carry more than Rs.10000, then you need to submit it that you are taking money in, even if you carry money out of India is fine. ITs is just to restrict the fake currency trolling in the economy.

the man at the airport said If I took some cash {3000}rs for cab charge/hotel for next time it was fine.no objection was raised.
