Hi,I have an opportunity to move to Bend, OR. Right now i am in Houston, Texas. Looking up the NerdWallet, i see the cost of living in Bend is 42% more than in Houston (!). With that identified, i want to understand what to expect if we move to Bend:1. How safe is Bend? Considering that the city is 90% White, what to expect for as a minority?2. Which are the safe neighborhoods in Bend? 3. Which are the best available elementary schools in Bend? 4. Where do most of the desis reside in Bend?5. Financially what should i look out for? Say for a $100K in Houston, you can easily save upto $1500 after all expenses. What can we expect in Bend for the same $100K?Appreciate your responses on this. I wanted to construct this discussion in a neat manner but then the questions flooded my thoughts. I really apologize for that. Hoping to get your thoughts on this!
