Thousands of spectators crowded the streets for hours, hoping to catch a glimpse of the royal procession. Partition of Bengal notified to create the Presidency of Bengal. The Imperial capital shifted from Calcutta to Delhi.
12/23/1912Rash Behari Ghosh and Sachin Sanyal threw a bomb at Viceroy Lord Hardinge II in Delhi. He had come to Delhi on an elephant for the initiation of the new capital. The Viceroy was injured in the bomb blast.

He also edited several other newspapers like ""Tribune"", ""New India"", ""Vande Mataram"", ""Swaraj"", ""Hindu Review"", ""Democrat"", ""Independent Bengali"", etc.
