Bengaluru, Dec 17 (IANS) Four players were tied for the lead in the men's amateur category of the RBG South Zone Tour Championship 2020 at the Eagleton Golf Resort here on Thursday.

With just 18 holes left to decide the winner, the quartet comprising Vrushank Balu who brought in the day's best card of 2-under par 70, followed by a 71 by Krishang Nayak, overnight leader Akshay Neranjen, and Shaurya Binu, were all locked in a battle for honours with an identical total of 1-over 145 at the end of the second round.

Hridika Vora extended her lead to seven shots in the women's amateur and teen A girls category with Vidushi Keni tailing the leader. Saanvi Somu and Srihitha Mandava were tied for lead in the Teen B Girls category with a total of 1-over 73.

Meanwhile, Veer and Jashan, both sons of former top Indian professional Rahul Ganapathy were leading in their respective categories. While Veer shot a level par 72 to get ahead in the teen boys B category, Jashan led the boys D category with a 85.
