Hi all,Mera nam Robert hai. Main gora hoon, lekin mujhe hindustan bahut pasand hai. At my previous job, I spent quite a bit of time around Delhi (mostly in Noida). I made the trip three years in a row. This year, however, I am at a new job and will not be able to make it back to India. I find myself really missing the place.I am hoping that I can make some new desi friends here in Portland. Im a huge Bollywood fan, and have seen well over 100 Hindi films. I try to always catch the new releases when they hit the cinema here - but always end up there alone. I have been studying Hindi for some time. I can read and write devanagari, and have a very limited vocabulary. I would really like to improve that. My goal is to be able to watch Hindi films without subtitles - I still have a long way to go!So, Id love to hear from anyone who might be interested in hanging out with a indophile gora. I am not a certified teacher or anything but I am pretty good AT IT and if you need someone to practice it with and learn some of the grammer etc.. I can surely help you.
